Urgh, I finished this piece and realized as I took it out from the UV light that there were a few air bubbles in the resin that I'd missed. It's realllly annoying. Anyway, the sentiment is still a good one, don't you think?
I'll keep the contest open for a couple more hours. Again, the winner will not be posted until the S.O. is in bed. I know this is the middle of the night for some of you - I'm sorry about that, but I think it's the only way I'll be able to manage things.
Thanks for stopping by! See you tonight!

Look, that's a great talent you have. Things aren't always going to work out perfectly; I know it can be frustrating. Sometimes I make then take apart then remake a bracelet or necklace 3 times before I'm finally satisfied. My beading board is stashed away in my attick somewhere; got stuck there 3 years ago when I remodeled my upstairs. I should crawl in there and find it! I'm so excited but I probably won't see who won till morning. My son is coming for dinner tonight and I likely will stay off the computer.
I love what you are doing with the fortunes. I am also sentimental and hate trowing them away. I have always wanted to do something with mine one day a cool art piece maybe.
Oh, not to worry, Vickie. I fully intend to still use the charm. It's just a little bit irritating, is all. Thanks, though!
Thanks, Rachel! They're a tough nut to crack, due to the unwieldy shape and the fact that they are just black and white. I working on it, though..
